The Kumquat Orange (金桔) is seen during Chinese New Year, the common name ‘Kumquat’ a got its name from the Cantonese ‘Gam Gat’, which means gold and luck. The plant is thus, seen as a symbol of wealth and prosperity. They are able to bear fruits all year round, symbolizing incoming wealth throughout the entire year.
Planted in: Red & Gold ceramic pot.
Light requirement: Bright and well-ventilated area. Keep away from direct sunlight and rain to prevent fruit from dropping.
Water requirement: Typically 2-3 times a week. Allow top inch of soil to dry out before next watering.
