Description
The Mandarin Orange (朱砂桔) is seen during Chinese New Year. The plant is seen as a symbol of wealth and prosperity. They are able to bear fruits all year round, symbolizing incoming wealth throughout the entire year.
Planted in: Clay pot as pictured
Light requirement: Bright and well-ventilated area. Keep away rain to prevent fruit from dropping.
Water requirement: Once every 2-3 days if indoors/shaded. | Daily if in direct sunlight.
Overall height: about 1m (Top fruit to base). Do note that there are longer and taller leaves on top, giving the appearance of a bigger plant.
