    Ficus Lyrata

    $20.00

Ficus lyrata, also known as the fiddle-leaf fig, is a species of evergreen tropical tree native to Africa. It belongs to the same family as banyan trees and rubber vines and is part of the Moraceae genus. Its striking feature is its large olive green or silver leaves that look like they came from a violin – hence its common name fiddle-leaf fig! They have milky sap inside them which oozes from any cuts made in its bark or stems. This plant has gained much popularity recently due to its compact size, striking foliage, attractive shape & ease for home growers making it an excellent choice for most indoor settings.

This plant is planted in a self-watering plastic pot.

Light requirement: Bright and well-ventilated area. Keep away from direct sunlight.
Water requirement: Typically 1 time a week. Watering is via bottom watering (self-watering).
