The Alocasia Emerald Tide is also known as ‘Frydek Tattoo’. It‘s a rare, mutant cultivar of Alocasia micholitziana ‘Green Velvet’. It is highly sought after for its deeply ruffled, matte green leaf margins, a broad sinus, and unique, mottled, or “tattooed” pigmentation on the underside of its leaves.
Planted in: original growers plastic pot
Light requirement: Bright and well-ventilated area. Keep away from direct sunlight.
Water requirement: Typically 1x a week. Allow top inch of soil to dry out before next watering.
